Bristow Expands Training With Vortex Buy

Bristow Group has expanded its training division with the acquisition of New Iberia, La.-based Vortex Helicopters for about $2.5 million. Vortex, which owns 11 training helicopters, has a longstanding relationship as a feeder school for Bristow’s Air Logistics for its Gulf of Mexico operations. Earlier this year, Bristow bought Helicopter Adventures and renamed it the Bristow Academy. Vortex has been renamed Bristow Academy Inc., New Iberia Campus. For related news
