Safety & Training Channel Goes Live

Rotor & Wing's website has a new portal to helicopter training and safety videos.

By Andrew Parker, managing editor

Rotor & Wing has launched a new online feature—the Safety & Training Channel. Filled with videos from the 2010 Safety & Training Summit in Denver, the channel will serve as a central location for footage that appears on Rotor & Wing’s home page in the coming days and weeks, as well as a portal to future sub-channels focused on specific topics. The first of these sub-channels is dedicated to FAA Administrator Randy Babbitt’s keynote speech from the event. In addition to various clips that have appeared over the past 10 days, two new videos are available today, with Immanuel Barshi, NASA senior principal investigator for human-systems integration, and Tim Rolfe, chief training captain, Sikorsky S-92 for Bristow European Operations.
