Program Insider: Contracts

CAE has won a series of land and flight contracts valued at more than £8.6 million ($16.5 million). CAE will perform a major avionics upgrade to the CAE-built Lynx Mk8 full-mission simulator at the Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton, U.K.

Hellfire Systems LLC, Orlando, Fla., was awarded a $196.7-million modification to a firm, fixed-price contract from the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command for various Hellfire missiles in containers. Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla.

Tyonek Fabrication Corp., Madison, Ala., was awarded a delivery order of $8.9 million from the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, as part of a firm, fixed-price contract for Functional Fit Form Replacement of the UH-60 Black Hawk Relay Panels.

Lockheed Martin Corp., Owego, N.Y., is being awarded a $49.7-million, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Naval Air Systems Command for sustaining engineering and maintenance support for all H-60 aircraft, including legacy aircraft. This contract will include engineering, program management, test, logistics, training, repair, studies and aircraft technical and maintenance support. Work will be performed in Owego, N.Y. and is expected to be completed in December 2009.

Raytheon Co. has been awarded a $50.8 million U.S. Navy contract for the Airborne Low Frequency Sonar system. The system is the primary undersea warfare sensor for the U.S. Navy’s MH-60R multi-mission helicopter.
