Heli-Expo Show Day: Flight Link Enhances Desktop "Flying"

FLIGHT LINK HAS BEEN producing flight controls for PC- and Macintosh-based flight simulation programs like Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane for more than 14 years. The aim of the Chico, Calif.-based company, exhibiting at Booth 2810, is to provide "a highly reliable training configuration at an affordable price" for practicing normal and emergency procedures. It’s Advanced Rotor Wing package includes its G-Stick 3 Plus floor-mounted cyclic, anti-torque pedals, and collective, with options for a twist-grip throttle on the collective, and a seat and base. Also available is the TR-1 Heli Upgrade, which includes radios standard in most helicopters for pilots who wish to train in IMC conditions.
