Era Plans New Training Facility in Louisiana

Era Helicopters is setting up a new training facility in Lake Charles, La. The 7,964-sq-ft Era Training Center, set to open by March 31 next year, is to feature two helicopter flight training devices. Frasca International is building on to replicate the Eurocopter AS350B2 and another for the EC135 CPDS P2+. It also will have classrooms, custom briefing areas, and administrative offices. The move comes as the offshore support industry is overhauling its pilot-training regime. For related news
