RotorWatch Provides

Accurate Weather Data

Telvent DTN has updated features for the RotorWatch weather service, which is part of its MxVision AviationSentry Online program. With coverage in the U.S. and Canada, RotorWatch gives helicopter operators the ability to track in-flight aircraft and approaching weather conditions on the same screen. Telvent DTN senior sales consultants Dale Raymakers and James Miller presented various functions of RotorWatch to attendees of the Rotor & Wing 2010 Safety and Training Summit in June. Map of the Gulf of Mexico shows RotorWatch’s ability to show current helicopter position and the flight path during the previous 60 minutes, with a layered weather map indicating bases with “caution” status related to forecast ceilings.
