Vietnamese Operator Receives EC225

Eurocopter has handed over an EC225 to Southern Service Flight Company (Southern SFC), a helicopter service provider in Vung Tau City, Vietnam. Southern SFC carries out a variety of helicopter flights in the region, including for search and rescue (SAR), offshore gas and oil exploration, and emergency medical service (EMS) missions. According to Southern SFC Operations Director Capt. Le Trong Dong, a second EC225 is scheduled to arrive before year-end, which will increase the company’s fleet to eight helicopters.
