Union: Court to Mediate Dispute with PHI

The PHI pilots union will meet with company officials Dec. 14 at the federal courthouse in Lafayette, La. to iron out their dispute over a return to work offer after the pilots' strike ended last month, according to The Daily Advertiser. The newspaper reports a union memo said a 2-hr telephone status conference held Dec. 4 with the parties and U.S. District Court Judge Rebecca Doherty facilitated an agreement for court supervised mediation. The Dec.14 meeting will be held under the supervision of U.S. Magistrate Judge C. Michael Hill. More
