USFS Expands Erickson Firefighting Agreement

Erickson Air-Crane has received a U.S. Forest Service contract to provide another S-64 for firefighting in the western part of the country. Based in Boise, Idaho, the S-64 will assist with the 2012 firefighting season. The agreement is structured in a similar way as other Erickson-USFS contracts, with an option to extend for up to three additional years. Portland, Ore.-based Erickson currently has eight such contracts in place with the Forest Service.
