Two UH-72As Delivered to Puerto Rico

EADS North America has handed over two UH-72A Lakotas to the U.S. Army for operations in Puerto Rico. Both helicopters are based at Isla Grande Airport in San Juan, where Detachment B/1-114AV of the Puerto Rico National Guard will use them for general aviation support missions. Manufactured at American Eurocopter’s facility in Columbus, Miss., the UH-72A is a derivative of the EC145.
