Sikorsky CH-53K Component Center Opens

Stratford, Conn.-based Sikorsky Aircraft has launched operations at its new Precision Components Technology Center. The $20-million facility will initially build major dynamic components for the CH-53K heavy lift helicopter, including main and tail rotor hubs, stationary swashplates and main rotor sleeves.
