Russia to Sell Military Copters to Sri Lanka

Reports out of Colombo say the country of Sri Lanka has ordered an undisclosed number of helicopters, as well as other military equipment, from Russia. The stated purpose of the aircraft is to transport military personnel, presumably to continue hostilities against Tamil Tigers, a group formed in the 1970s to create an independent state.
