Lebanon's First Firefighting Helicopter

The Sikorsky is the first of two for the county, which, according to the Interior Ministry's Forever Green fundraising campaign, will help fight forest fires during the sweltering summer months. The Forever Green campaign was launched last year and hopes to raise funds to purchase more firefighting helicopters in the future. Interior Minister Ziad Baroud has helped raise $200,000 to date.
