Lake County Receives New EC120

American Eurocopter has handed over an EC120 to Lake County Sheriff Department’s Aviation Unit in Indiana. The Aviation Unit was formed in 1979 and has employed various aircraft over the course of 30 years, including military surplus aircraft. The EC120 will serve in a variety of roles, such as patrol, pursuit assistance and aerial support for K-9, aquatics, marine and tactical special ops units.
