Japan Police Purchase Additional AW139

AgustaWestland and Mitsui Bussan Aerospace have obtained an order for another AW139 from the Japan National Police Agency (NPA). The helicopter will replace the Chiba prefecture’s AS332L1. With the latest AW139, NPA increases its fleet of AW139s to three. The first two are in operation with the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department.
