India's Global Vectra to Buy 11 Helicopters

Global Vectra Helicorp, among India's biggest helicopter charter operators, plans to spend $103 million to buy 11 new helicopters over the next two years to meet rising demand for transportation to offshore drilling platforms. The chairman of the company's parent Vectra Group, Ravinder Rishi, told Bloomberg News in New Delhi, that Global would buy five Eurocopters and six Bells.
