Helicopter Mechanic Wins Regional Award

Air Evac Lifeteam of West Plains, Mo. has given its 2009 Regional Mechanic of the Year award to helicopter mechanic Maynard Winch, who is based in McMinn County, Tenn. Air Evac Lifeteam held an awards ceremony in early August for employees from the company’s Lexington region, including those in Kentucky, Ohio, eastern Tennessee and West Virginia. Troy McMahan, regional maintenance manager, notes that Winch “is simply known as the best in his region, and it’s because of his dedication to his job and the great maintenance he provides on the aircraft.”
