Heli-One Decreasing Workforce in Gander

CHC Helicopter Corp. subsidiary Heli-One Composites is planning to reduce its workforce in Gander, NL. The staff cuts, comprising around 120 union and non-union employees, are due to “a downturn in the demand for manufacturer aircraft components,” according to a company statement. Heli-One Composites adds that it has not lost any contracts and recently obtained additional certifications.
