HealthNet to Receive EC135, EC145

American Eurocopter is planning to hand over an EC135 and an EC145 to Charleston, W.V.-based HealthNet Aeromedical Services on November 6. The EMS-configured helicopters will enter service in March 2010. Upgrades include dual-pilot IFR and night vision goggle (NVG) capabilities, helicopter terrain awareness warning system (HTAWS) and wire strike kit.
