GATE Tested Using EC145

Eurocopter and Funkwerk Avionics have carried out a test flight with an EC145 that involved using the Galileo Test and Development Environment (GATE). The GATE system uses six transmission antennas to simulate the European Galileo satellite network. The trial was one of three demonstration tests under the mature applications of Galileo for emergency services (MAGES) project.
