FAA Approves Bell 206 Cable Cutters

DART Helicopter Services subsidiary Apical Industries has received FAA approval for its cable cutter kits for the Bell 206A, B, L/L1/L3 and L4 models. Apical is pursuing Transport Canada and EASA approvals. The kit is designed to reduce the possibility of flight control damage during a wire strike incident and lower the chance of a cable or wire entering the cockpit.
