Boeing, Agusta Team on Chinook Sales

Boeing and AgustaWestland have signed of a memo of understanding to work jointly on the next-generation CH-47 Chinook for the Italian army and other future rotorcraft opportunities. The memo "identifies potential opportunities for both companies to work together to offer effective and economic joint solutions for future heavy lift rotorcraft requirements" in Italy and the United Kingdom, the companies said. They would jointly market the CH-47F as the replacement for the current Italian Chinooks. On future opportunities, AgustaWestland would be prime contractor and Boeing the exclusive prime subcontractor. For related news
