Bell Sees 15-Percent Annual Growth in India

Helicopter activity in India should grow at 15 percent a year over the next five years and even higher after that, according to Bell Helicopter. “What is expected to spur this growth is massive demand from offshore oil and gas companies, charter-service firms, and corporate houses,” a Bell official told Daily News & Analysis, a newspaper in Mumbai. Demand from offshore oil and gas has already taken off, the official said, while that from charter firms and corporations is waiting to soar as the economy zooms. The prospects have quite a few players jumping into the helicopter business. For related news
