Australian Police Want Eye in the Sky for Sex Offender
Police in Queensland, Australia are in the market for a police helicopter to help in the search for sex offenders. More than 36 attacks, including two
rapes, have occurred since January 2006 in an area along a popular bikepath. Police believe a helicopter, in conjunction with cameras placed along the pathways, will assist in catching the predators. Police have dismissed claims that a helicopter would be too slow in tracking down predators. More
