Sky Connect Bags Big Order From Air Log

Sky Connect is claiming the industry's largest-ever tracker product sale with an order of 125 systems from offshore operator Air Logistics. Air Logistics plans to install the Sky Connect satellite tracking and phone systems, including the mission management unit, in its aircraft operating over the Gulf of Mexico and in Alaska. That unit is designed to deliver voice, tracking, and text messages with a single-switch control. Sky Connect said it will enable Air Logistics crewmembers to send standard messages and flight plans, including the number of passengers or current fuel load, using preprogrammed text-report functions.    For related news
