Colombian Black Hawks Top 300,000 Hours
The Colombian fleet of Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawks has gone over the 300,000-flight-hour mark. The Army, Air Force and National Police operate a combined fleet of nearly 100 Black Hawks for search and rescue, EMS, disaster relief, anti-drug and counter-insurgency operations. Colombia operates the world’s fourth largest Black Hawk fleet, according to Sikorsky.
