CAE Wins MH-60R Trainer Deal
The U.S. Navy has issued a $44-million contract for CAE to build two Sikorsky MH-60R tactical operational flight trainers (TOFTs). The arrangement calls for CAE to deliver one simulator to Naval Station Mayport near Jacksonville, Fla. in mid-2013 and the other to the Naval Air Facility in Atsugi, Japan in summer 2014. The contract includes options for two additional trainers that would raise the total value to around $78 million.
