Maryland Police Purchase Six AW139s
AgustaWestland has won a $71-million contract from the Maryland State Police Aviation Command for six AW139s. The helicopters will join the unit’s Medevac fleet program. AgustaWestland will build the AW139s at its plant in Philadelphia, with plans to begin deliveries in early 2012.
