House Considers On-Demand Ops

The U.S. House of Representatives Aviation Subcommittee is holding a hearing this afternoon that will focus on on-demand flights, including EMS, firefighting, offshore, tourism, corporate/personal travel, electronic newsgathering (ENG) and cargo operations. Helicopter Association Intl President Matt Zuccaro is part of a panel that also includes Air Charter Safety Foundation President Jim Coyne and National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) President & CEO Ed Bolen. The hearing is set for today at 2:00 p.m. EST and can be viewed live via webcast through the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee website.
