Taiwan Calls Word of MH-60M Buy Premature

Taiwanese defense officials are calling premature press reports that the nation plans to buy a new version of Sikorsky's Black Hawk or other aircraft to replace its army's remaining Bell AH-1W Super Cobras. One report said Taiwan is looking at the Black Hawk, a version of the Bell upgraded AH-1Z for the U.S. Marine Corps, or the U.S. Army's Block 3 Boeing AH-64D Apache. A defense ministry spokesman said, “This idea is in the concept stage only." More
