Forward Vision Gets STC’d on R44

In a partnership with One Sky Aviation, Forward Vision Systems has obtained a supplemental type certificate (STC) to install its EVS100/600 on the Robinson R44. The enhanced vision system, which Max-Viz developed with Forward Vision, is intended for the general aviation market. Forward Vision CEO Patrick Farrell notes that Flight Display Systems also participated in the EVS100/600, supplying a display—the five-inch Flipper LCD—that is used in cases where space on the MFD is not an option.
