Honeywell Wins Chinook Engine Contract

The U.S. Army has signed a $79-million agreement with Honeywell for T55-GA-714 engines and fielding kits for the Boeing Chinook. The engines are seeing use in both the CH-47D version and the new CH-47F. Deliveries under the contract extension are scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2010.
