FAS: Sikorsky S-76D Launch Customer

Sikorsky Aircraft has designated Falcon Aviation Services (FAS) as the launch customer for the S-76D. FAS has placed an order for two S-76Ds, with an option for a further two helicopters. The operator plans to use the helicopters for offshore oil and gas transport and corporate charter services. Sikorsky anticipates delivering the S-76Ds in 2011, after they are equipped with VIP, heli-taxi and offshore equipment packages.
