Boeing Picks L-3 Wescam Sensors

Under a deal with Boeing, L-3 Communications’ Wescam subsidiary will supply 15 electro-optical infrared (EO/IR) imaging sensors for the Canadian Medium-Heavy Lift helicopter program. Plans call for delivery of the Wescam turrets between 2011 and 2014. The sensors will be installed on the 15 new CH-47 Chinooks that the Canadian government ordered in September.
