Gulf Helicopters Orders AW139 Simulator

Gulf Helicopters is purchasing an AW139 simulator from the U.K. vendor cueSim, according to The Gulf Times. The Doha, Qatar newspaper quoted Gulf Helicopters as saying the device would be delivered in 18 months. Gulf Helicopters, also based in Doha, has two of the AgustaWestland medium twins in its fleet, which also includes 16 Bell Helicopter 412s (a mix of SP, HP and EP variants), six Bell 212s and one Agusta Bell AB206. It ordered 10 AW139s at last year's Dubai Air Show. Gulf Helicopters also recently became an authorised AgustaWestland service center for the Middle East region. For related news
