Four Charged With Shooting L.A. Sheriff AStar

Los Angeles authorities have arrested four people in connection with the shooting of a L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. helicopter was hit with gunfire. A 23-year-old Carson, Calif. man is being held on $2.25 million bail on felony charges of suspicion of shooting into an occupied aircraft, according to The Los Angeles Times. The newspaper said prosecutors also want to charge him with attempted murder of a peace officer. Three juveniles also have been charged as accessories to the crime. The Eurocopter AS350 was responding to assist in a robbery call May 22 when it was hit by gunshot in the belly and the tail. For related news
