HAI Plans EMS, Offshore Safety Forums

The Helicopter Assn International is planning safety forums focusing on the U.S. emergency medical service and offshore oil and gas support segments of the industry. HAI President Matt Zuccaro said the meetings will build on the success of ones held over the last year for the air tour, electronic newsgathering, and aerial firefighting segments. The forums provide an opportunity to get operators in specific industry segments in the same room with regulators from the FAA and safety specialists from the NTSB to address common concerns, he said. The EMS forum likely will be held in the central United States. For related news
