Heli-Expo 08: MD Still Eyes Move From Mesa

MD Helicopters Chairman and CEO Lynn Tilton is still considering moving the manufacturer from its Mesa, Ariz. home because of a rent increase there, The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. Quoting Tilton, the paper said Fort Worth’s Alliance Airport is one of two North Texas sites under serious consideration as a new home, the other being Sherman, Texas; Tilton said she is considering other sites outside Texas, too. The paper said Tilton planned to meet yesterday with Alliance developer Ross Perot Jr. A decision on a move could be made within a couple of months, she said.
