Firms Team to Enhance Gimbal Trainer

Aerosimulators has formed a strategic alliance with AeroComputers, to enhance Aerosimulators' Gimbal Imaging System Trainer. The Belgian-U.S. training company unveiled that trainer at Heli-Expo in February and showed it again at the Airborne Law Enforcement Assn. annual show in July. Oxnard, Calif.-based AeroComputers, a leading provider of mission management systems that integrate GPS-based moving maps, image collection and transmission, illumination, and data storage, will work with AeroSimulators to integrate those capabilities into the gimbal-system trainer to replicate aircraft configurations.
