CAE in Line for 20-Year Canadian Chinook Contract

Canada has picked CAE to provide operational training systems for its new Boeing CH-47 Chinooks. Canada said CAE, based in Montreal, was the only bidder for the work (which also includes a Lockheed Martin C-130J training system) that complied with its requirements. The Public Works and Government Services Canada agency will now release a request for proposal to CAE to acquire equipment and aircrew training services over 20 years for the nation’s future tactical airlift aircraft and helicopter fleets. Canada is C-130Js and is finalizing a contract for the Chinooks. For related news
