10 Days Left to Nominate Helicopter Heroism Award Crews

Just 10 days remain for you to nominate individuals or crews for Rotor & Wing’s 2007 Helicopter Heroism Award. Any person or helicopter crew, military or civilian, from around the world is eligible for the award, which honors exceptional decision-making, courage, and piloting skill in the use of rotorcraft as a rescue platform. Sept. 1 is the deadline for nominations. A nomination must be accompanied by authenticating material about the act of heroism, which may include letters, videos, citations, and other documents. The winner(s) will be the focus of the November issue of R&W. The nomination form may be accessed  here.
