New U.S. Navy MH-60s to Get HUMS

Goodrich will build advanced health and usage management systems for new-production U.S. Navy Sikorsky Aircraft MH-60R and -60Ss. It is retrofitting the systems on U.S. Marine Corps Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallions and U.S. Army UH-60L Black Hawks; the Black Hawks are to get the systems before they re-deploy to Iraq. The systems are part of Navy and Army efforts to transition from flight hour-based to condition-based maintenance. For related news
