Silver State Expands to Ag Field

Silver State Helicopters is expanding into the agricultural field with the purchase of Central Washington Helicopter. The move is intended to give Silver State Helicopters’ flight training students opportunities to gain experience and give current pilots the opportunity to advance their careers, said Silver State President Jerry Airola. “The agricultural field opens so many more doors for our students, giving them the chance to diversify their career options.” Wenatchee, Wash.-based Central Washington Helicopter specializes in aerial application of pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers. It will continue to operate under the same name as a separate operating unit of Silver State. For related news
