Russia to Compete for Helicopter Contract

Igor Pshenichny, deputy director general of Helicopters of Russia, announced that the Russian-based aerospace company will bid on a contract to build 320 helicopters for the Indian defense services. The company manufactures the multi-role Ka-266T and the Mi-28H Night Hunter gunship. He also said Helicopters of Russia would support those aircraft with a maintenance and service center in India.
