Derco Provides Intermittent Fault Detection
Milwaukee, Wis.-based Derco Repair Services has added an intermittent fault detection and isolation system (IFDIS) to its facility. The IFDIS identifies intermittent faults in electrical components. The system will allow Derco—an Avionics Center of Excellence for Sikorsky Aerospace Services (SAS)—to isolate the electrical fault without disposing of the entire component, allowing technicians to repair the original part.
