FlightSafety International has appointed Benjamin Burton staff vice president, compliance and regulatory affairs, based in Washington, D.C. Burton joined FlightSafety last year to lead the team responsible for FlightSafety’s FAA and JAA government compliance activities.

Metro Aviation, Inc. has named Jim Kettles as director of sales and customer support. The newly-created position at Metro Aviation will include responsibilities for aircraft completions, new business growth and customer support.

Telegenix has appointed Joe Miller, who has been with the company for six years, as general manager.

Cineflex, LLC, has named Bart Kent as director of business development. Kent will oversee the sales division of Cineflex and be responsible for increasing Cineflex’s market penetration in established key areas while developing a presence in new industries.

Richard Poppe, chief pilot at PremiAir, will become the first member of the Helicopter Assn. International Flight Operations Committee from outside of the United States.

Era Helicopters LLC has appointed David F. Stepanek as vice president, business development. Stepanek’s responsibility will be to develop the company’s growth in the international and domestic market and to expand the company’s leasing efforts.

Kristi Hartley has been named strategic planning and customer insight manager for Silver State Helicopters in Las Vegas, Nev. Jae Park has been named the senior cost accountant/financial advisor for Silver State.
