SAS to Provide UH-60 Mx for Colombian Army

Sikorsky Aerospace Services (SAS) has signed a contract with the Colombian Army to provide in-country maintenance for its UH-60 Black Hawk fleet. A team of 21 Sikorsky-trained technicians will be performing phase maintenance inspections and 120-hour inspections at the Army’s base in Tolemaida. Colombia currently has the third-largest fleet of Black Hawks in the world and the UH-60L fleet will be tasked with aerial support on air assault, reconnaissance, supply and other operations.
