Eurocopter Strengthens Middle East Presence
The Royal Jordanian Air Force has signed with Eurocopter to establish a cooperative maintenance program to support its 10 AS332 M1 Super Pumas. The contract includes G-level major inspections, training and a work-sharing arrangement. Eurocopter also signed a customer support services agreement with Global Aerospace Logistics (GAL) involving the United Arab Emirates’ Armed Forces. The UAE Navy and Presidential Guard Command flies a fleet of Dauphins, Ecureuils, Fennecs, Panthers and Super Pumas. Eurocopter also inked a final sales agreement Pakistan’s Princely Jets for a corporate-configured EC130 B4, which is slated for delivery in June 2012.
