P&WC PW210S Moves Into Production
Pratt & Whitney Canada is “ramping up” production of the PW210S, according to President John Saabas. The engine powers the Sikorsky S-76D and is intended for the offshore, EMS, corporate and government sectors. Pratt & Whitney has handed over six production engines to Sikorsky through mid-February. The flight test program for the S-76D is ongoing, with FAA certification anticipated later this year.
