Textron Says No Current Plans to Sell Bell

Reuters is reporting that the CEO of Textron told a gathering of business investors that it has no current plans to sell Bell Helicopter. “We probably won’t have to think about selling any of our core assets,” said Lewis Campbell. “But notice I use the word ‘probably.’”  Textron, the parent company of Bell and Cessna, considers both subsidiaries to be core assets. Campbell did, however, say the company would be more likely to consider selling off the division that finances purchases of airplanes and helicopters. For more information
